SARAH CANNON RESEARCH UK NOW ENROLLING PATIENTS ON CLINICAL TRIALS
Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) recently launched Sarah Cannon Research UK, a cancer drug development program in the United Kingdom that provides access to Phase I clinical trials for patients. Sarah Cannon Research UK is in partnerships with Leaders in Oncology Care and HCA International. It is the Sarah Cannon Research Institute's first research program for clinical trials outside the United States and the first program in London offering Phase I clinical trials that were previously only available to patients through the NHS. Sarah Cannon Research UK is a freestanding treatment clinic located at 93 Harley Street, a recently renovated historical building in the heart of London’s health care community. The 13,000-square foot complex has 12 treatment chairs and separate testing areas. The Care Quality Commission accredited the facility in May 2010. This drug development unit is served by The Harley Street Clinic, located at 35 Weymouth Street, London W1G 8BJ.

Infante, M.D., to Director, Drug Development for the Nashville based program where he previously served as associate director. Howard A. “Skip” Burris III, M.D., chief medical officer for the organization, will assume the role of executive director for the overall drug development initiative.
